Maintenance of Wakefulness Test

An Maintenance of Wakefulness Test (MWT) is performed during the day following a polysomnogram. The MWT is a series of five 40-minute tests that are conducted at two-hour intervals. A MWT measures a patient’s ability to remain awake for preset times.
